Mt. Telemark Village Club Challenge
Best club in the Midwest? Best club in the country? Best club in North America?
There are many ways to measure the value of a club and the Birkie is here to provide a scale – with a great reward for the winning team.
It’s simple, fun, and tax deductible. The Birkie will recognize the club with the biggest total cumulative contribution to the Mt. Telemark Village project. That club will receive a free table at this year’s Jessie-Diggins-hosted Birkie Bash – with a guarantee that Jessie will stop by your table for a photo.
The rules? Pretty simple. Convince your teammates – or friends or family on your behalf – to contribute to the Mt. Telemark Village (MTV) project. Keep track of your contributions and the club with the most money raised as of February 17, 2024 wins.
Why donate to the Mt. Telemark Village project? You mean, besides the Jessie photo opp? That’s simple too. MTV is only the biggest thing that the Birkie has ever done. Enhanced snowmaking. Fantastic new mountain bike trails – the Trek Trails, powered by OTM. A rollerski loop – the George Hovland Trail. A 12,000 square foot community center. Coffee shop, hotel, restaurant, camper cabins, and bike and ski rentals – all provided by Birkie partners. And a great way to spread the love for our outdoor active lifestyle and keep the Birkie sustainable.
FAQ:
- Can I donate online or by check? Yes. In fact, your gift can be through an online donation, a check, a stock transfer, through a required minimum distribution from a retirement account, or through a long-term pledge.
- How do we keep track of our total? Just have one club member keep track of the contributions from the club (or from friends and family on the club’s behalf). If there is any controversy the Birkie can audit the numbers later on to make sure that they are all real.
